Escape the stresses of modern life and kick back in your very own woodland cabin. Cwtch Camp is tucked away in a rural location between the small villages of Rosemarket and Burton. This private 3-acre woodland offers a peaceful retreat within Pembrokeshire’s National Park. No electricity or WIFI means there are few distractions from this simple outdoor lifestyle. Cosy up inside your cabin enjoying meals prepared on the barbecue or explore the near by beaches, cycle trails and coastal hikes. Despite being so remote the woodland camp is a 30-minute drive from the popular seaside town of Tenby and the rugged cathedral city of St David’s. The Brunel Cycle Trail runs adjacent to the camp making it easy to explore by bicycle, nip to Neyland Marina for lunch overlooking the estuary or pick up a freshly baked loaf from The Farm House Bakery in Johnston. Choose between three handcrafted timber cabins each with it’s own terrace, fire pit and hammock or have exclusive site hire and enjoy the run of the place with your friends and family. Groups that opt for exclusivity have the option to hire our luxury bell tents for additional guests.
In order to comply with local planning policy, we operate as a ‘Greener Camping Club members-only site’. One membership is required for each occupied tent, camper-van, caravan, motorhome or pre-erected glamping structure (pup tents excluded). Membership costs £10 a year. This amount will be added to your camping fees at the time of booking. Membership includes participation in the Club’s Carbon Offset Scheme. This commits us to planting a tree for every booking we take. We’ll issue your membership receipt upon arrival. Further information is available on the Greener Camping Club website or by request.
Popular with couples and honeymooners, this cabin is furnished with a double bed. Cwtch Cariad is slightly set back in the woodland so it offers more privacy and benefits from the morning sun which floods in through the large glass-paneled door into the bright interior. Cwtch Cariad is approximately 60 metres from the communal kitchen cabin, 65 metres from the WC/Shower cabin and 80 metres from the entrance gate where you can park your vehicle.
- Sleeps up to 2 guests
Ideal for young families as it can accommodate a family of four in 2 double (bunk style) beds. The raised bed fits into the eaves of the cabin so although it is a double bed the sloping walls means it’s slightly shorter in length and therefore best suited as a child’s bed. Ty Cwtch is approximately 20 metres from the communal kitchen cabin and 40 metres from the WC/Shower cabin and entrance gate where you can park your vehicle.
- Sleeps up to 4 guests
Suitable for couples or single occupancy. This bright and airy cabin benefits from the evening sun on the decking, which also floods in through the glass-paneled door. The double bed is cut slightly short by the sloping walls in this cabin meaning the bed measures 185cm in length (this may not suitable if you are over 6ft tall and I would recommend Cwtch Cariad as an alternative). Cwtch Bach is approximately 30 metres from the communal kitchen cabin and 50 metres from the WC/Shower cabin and entrance gate where you park your vehicle.
- Sleeps up to 2 guests
Camping Off Grid
The Cwtch site is totally off grid so there is no electricity. This makes it lovely and peaceful and a great way to escape the hustle and bustle. If you need to stay connected and charge your phone we advise that you bring your car charger with you. It also means that there are no electric lights makes it perfect for candlelit evenings but it’s a good idea to bring a torch with you as well. No electric doesn’t mean no hot water though… We have a gas boiler on site ensuing that lovely hot showers are always available. If you have any questions about camping off grid please dont hestitate to get in touch via our contact page.
